# Your services

> Find your services in the console, read a service's access details, log in to its control panel and keep an eye on its disk use.

Every hosting plan, addon and contract on a billing account is a **service**. Click **Services** in the sidebar to see them.

You need the **View services** permission to see services, and **Manage services** to log in to a control panel or change usage alerts. See [Users and permissions](https://perfgrid.com/docs/console/team/members-and-permissions.md).

## The services list

![Services list with a Grid Hosting, a cPanel and a DNS Hosting service and an addon, with the All, Hosting, Addons and Ended tabs](https://mintcdn.com/perfgrid/rir3QY8n0k7qdkOi/images/console/services/your-services-list.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=rir3QY8n0k7qdkOi\&q=85\&s=bd34be91bc1a0fb59a2c3d4a964bb139)

Use the tabs to show only hosting, only addons or services that have ended, and **Filter by domain** to find a service. **Price** is what the next period costs, excluding VAT. Click a service's name to open its page.

## A service's page

The top of the page shows the package, the price, the domain, when the service renews and since when you have had it.

On a Grid Hosting account, **WordPress** shows how many WordPress sites it has, and how many have a known vulnerability in our latest scan. Update those in the hosting panel.

Further down are the service's [addons](https://perfgrid.com/docs/console/services/addons.md) and the buttons to [change](https://perfgrid.com/docs/console/services/change-a-service.md) or [cancel](https://perfgrid.com/docs/console/services/cancel-a-service.md) it.

## Access details

A hosting account has a **Hosting panel** section (Grid Hosting) or a **cPanel** section. It shows the username, how to connect to the server, the nameservers your domain must use and the disk use.

![Hosting panel section with the username, Log in to the panel, panel address, server, SFTP and SSH, MySQL host, nameservers, disk and email use and the disk use graph](https://mintcdn.com/perfgrid/AF3gj0IyFe8M1Rvg/images/console/services/your-services-hosting-panel.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=AF3gj0IyFe8M1Rvg\&q=85\&s=70f97dfeac4a88ce484742ba1e0d5b28)

To connect over SSH or SFTP, see [Grid Hosting](https://perfgrid.com/docs/grid-hosting/general/how-do-i-connect-over-ssh.md) or [cPanel](https://perfgrid.com/docs/cpanel/general/how-do-i-connect-over-ssh.md).

> [!NOTE]
>
> The console never shows the account's password. When a new account is ready, we email the username and password to the billing account's owner. You don't need the password to log in from the console.

## Log in to the control panel

**1. Open the service**

Click **Services** in the sidebar and click the hosting service.

**2. Click the login button**

Click **Log in to the panel** on Grid Hosting, or **Log in to cPanel** or **Open Webmail** on cPanel. A new tab opens and logs you in.

![cPanel section with the Change password, Open Webmail and Log in to cPanel buttons, the mail settings and Add disk space](https://mintcdn.com/perfgrid/sWFJqnIUuIEWyOeE/images/console/services/your-services-cpanel.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=sWFJqnIUuIEWyOeE\&q=85\&s=64de6a8c88479c52571dfa9378951629)

The buttons are only there while the service is **Active**. The menu at the end of a row on the services list has the same login.

On cPanel, **Change password** sets a new password for the account: type it twice, or click **Generate** and copy it. It is also the password of the account's main FTP login and its MySQL user.

## Disk use and usage alerts

We read the disk use every hour. On Grid Hosting, email storage has its own limit. Once there are readings from more than one day, a graph shows **Disk use per day (MB)**.

We email you when the disk or the email storage is 85 % full, again at 95 % and when it is full. Click **Snooze for 30 days** or **Turn warnings off** to stop the warnings; we still email you when it is full.

If your plan sells extra disk space, **Add disk space** opens it. See [Add or change an option](https://perfgrid.com/docs/console/services/change-a-service.md#add-or-change-an-option). When the disk is filling up, **Upgrade package** on the service's card on the **Overview** opens its packages.

## When a service is suspended

A hosting service is suspended when its renewal invoice is still unpaid two working days after the due date. Pay the [invoice](https://perfgrid.com/docs/console/billing/invoices.md) and the service is unsuspended automatically. While it is suspended, you can't log in to it, change it or cancel it in the console.
