# Restore database in JetBackup 5

This article explains how to **restore databases** in **JetBackup 5**.

JetBackup 5 does **not** automatically restore **database user grants** when you restore a database. Plan to **restore database users** as part of the same recovery, or re-apply permissions afterward.
