# Do you offer temporary domains?

You are able to use applications such as [HostsFileEditor](https://github.com/scottlerch/HostsFileEditor) for Windows or [iHosts](https://en.toolinbox.net/iHosts/) for Mac OS X.

These programs modify a file on your computer known as the "hosts" file, which can be used to override the IP-address your domain points to when accessed from your computer.

Your entry would e.g. be:

```
213.184.85.11 yourdomain.com www.yourdomain.com
```

**213.184.85.11** would be the IP address for your hosting account. The IP is provided during signup or can be found in cPanel. And then **yourdomain.com** and **[www.yourdomain.com](http://www.yourdomain.com)** would be the domain you've registered the account with, or any other addon domain on the account.

You're also able to add a subdomain or alias domain in cPanel and point this subdomain to the server with us, and use this as your temporary domain.
