We run backups every 6 hours with JetBackup. They are full incremental account backups and include files, email, and databases.
Retention
- 6-hour backups are kept for 24 hours.
- Daily backups are kept for 28 days.
Restore
You can restore individual files, folders, and databases from the JetBackup section in cPanel.
Overdue accounts
If an account is overdue, its backups are removed after 7 days.
When backup availability may be lower
In rare situations, you might have fewer or less reliable restore points than usual:
- The account is being migrated from one server to another.
- We are replacing or doing maintenance on storage used for backups, which can mean lost backup data.
- Data loss or corruption occurs.
- A backup fails. We are notified about two hours after the expected completion time, which can delay the next backup by about two hours.
Your own copies
