# What PHP versions do you support?

> PerfGrid knowledge base article in PHP.

Grid Hosting / **hosting-panel.net** aims to support **PHP 7.3 and newer**.

Supported versions by server:

| Server           | PHP versions                           |
| ---------------- | -------------------------------------- |
| nlsh04 (AMS, NL) | 7.3, 7.4, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5 |
| nlsh05 (AMS, NL) | 7.3, 7.4, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5 |
| nlsh06 (AMS, NL) | 7.3, 7.4, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5 |
| nlsh07 (AMS, NL) | 7.3, 7.4, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5 |
| nash02 (BHS, CA) | 7.3, 7.4, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5 |

Use the **newest version your site supports**. Small jumps (for example 8.3 → 8.5) are usually easier than large ones (for example 7.4 → 8.2).

We **do not** change your selected PHP version for you. If a site is set to PHP 7.4, it **stays** on 7.4 until you change it, this is to avoid surprise downtime.
