hosting-panel.net is the control panel for Grid Hosting: a single interface to configure domains, apps, mail, DNS, caching, and more. The panel is centralized and talks to multiple backends so we can operate and scale the platform efficiently for all clients.

Domains

  • Domains and domain aliases
  • Subdomains and subdomain aliases
  • Temporary domains for preview before DNS goes live
  • Wildcard TLS certificates issued via ACME, from Google Trust Services (GTS) or Let’s Encrypt

DNS

The DNS editor supports A, AAAA, MX, TXT, SRV, and CAA records. You can set a custom TTL on each record, enable DNSSEC (algorithm 13), and export zones in BIND format.

Email

  • Email accounts with a configurable spam reject threshold for our Rspamd-powered filter
  • Disk space limits per mailbox
  • Forwarders, including wildcard forwarders, to addresses on domains within the same account only

Security

  • Two-factor authentication (2FA) for the panel

Databases

  • Create and update databases
  • Single sign-on into phpMyAdmin for those databases

Backups

  • Backup and restore with JetBackup 5

WordPress

  • WordPress installer (simple flow)
  • Clone an existing site when it was originally installed with the WP Installer

Automation

  • URL Scheduler — call URLs on a schedule (a simplified alternative to full cron)
  • Cronjobs — standard scheduled tasks

Files and transfer

  • FTP accounts
  • SFTP support for main user
  • File Manager in the browser

Applications

  • Node.js applications can be deployed from the panel; we do not provide support for your application code or runtime issues

Valkey (Redis-compatible)

  • Valkey Manager to run Valkey/Redis-compatible instances
  • Configure eviction policy and, depending on plan, maximum memory

Photon Optimizer

  • Serves WebP and/or AVIF for images through our Varnish layer, distributed across multiple servers worldwide

Insights and integrations

  • PageSpeed Insights (PSI) metrics per domain
  • Patchstack integration

Statistics

Per-domain and platform statistics include:
  • HTTP metrics: hits, traffic, and status codes
  • DNS query stats
  • Average Photon Optimizer savings (percentage)
  • The last 25 lines of error logs
