You can move up at any time. Your files and email come with you.
PHP still runs on the command line
No PHP runs over HTTP on this plan. Nothing you upload will execute when a visitor requests it. But you still get SSH access, and PHP is there on the command line.
That is enough to run a static site generator or a one-off build script and leave the finished HTML behind. There are no cronjobs on this plan, so anything you run, you run yourself.

Questions people ask
Can I have a contact form?
Not one that runs on our servers, because that would need PHP. Use a hosted form service that posts to their API from JavaScript, or just put your email address on the page.
What if I need PHP later?
Move up to Micro or any other Grid Hosting plan. It is an upgrade in your account, not a new order, and your files and email stay where they are.
How do I get my files online?
SFTP, SSH, or the file manager in the control panel. Or point your AI editor at our MCP server on hosting-panel.net/mcp and let it deploy straight from a public git repository.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Bring a domain you already own, or register one with us. You get email on that domain as part of the plan.
Is WordPress possible?
No. WordPress is PHP and needs a database, so it will not run here. Micro is the smallest plan that fits WordPress.
What happens if I go over 1GB?
We will let you know. A static site is almost always well under 1GB, but if yours is not, a bigger plan is the answer.
