Account credit is money your billing account holds with us. It is held without VAT, in your billing account’s currency, and taken off an invoice before VAT is added. For example, on an invoice of €100.00 before VAT with 21% VAT and €30.00 credit, VAT is worked out on €70.00 and you pay €84.70. Credit comes from overpayments, credit notes that refund to your credit, PerfGrid, and affiliate commission. You can’t top it up yourself.

See your balance

Click Billing in the sidebar. Account credit shows your Balance. You need the View invoices permission.

Use credit automatically

With Use credit on invoices automatically on, credit goes on your unpaid invoices by itself, oldest due date first. Changing the switch needs the Manage billing details permission.
If your billing account came from our old customer panel, automatic credit is off, as it was there. Switch it on, or use your credit on an invoice yourself.

Use credit on an invoice

Open an unpaid invoice in your billing account’s currency and click Use credit. Pay what is still due as usual. You need the Pay invoices permission.

You can’t take credit off an invoice yourself: contact support if you want to pay it another way.
