A billing account holds services, domains and invoices, for example your company. One login can use several: your own, your other companies’, or your clients’ if they invited you.

Switch between billing accounts

Click the billing account at the top of the sidebar and pick one under Accounts you can manage. The console keeps you on the same page when you may open it there.
Billing account switcher open with Accounts you can manage and Add billing account

Add a billing account

In the switcher, click Add billing account, fill in the details and click Create billing account. You become its owner. See Add a billing account for the form. You can add up to 5 billing accounts a day.

Leave a billing account

Your Profile lists the billing accounts you use under Billing accounts, with what your role lets you do. To stop using one someone else owns, click Leave and confirm.

You lose access straight away. The owner can’t leave: transfer ownership first.

Account settings

The owner opens More > Account settings to require 2FA for everyone, transfer ownership or close the account. The account’s name, address and VAT number are under Billing details.

Transfer ownership

Under Transfer ownership, choose the New owner, click Offer the ownership and confirm. The new owner must already be a member who has confirmed their email address; invite them first if needed. We email them the offer, and they also see it on the account’s Overview. They become the owner when they accept it from their own login within 7 days. Until then you stay the owner and can click Withdraw the offer. You can have one open offer at a time.
Once they accept, you can’t undo it yourself. You stay on as an Administrator, and only the new owner can offer the account back.

Close a billing account

Under Close account, click Request closure, add a Reason if you like and click Request closure again. We contact you about running services and open invoices before we close it; until then nothing changes. Once it is closed, Account settings says This billing account is closed. You can still see its invoices.

Delete your login

Deleting your login removes you, not a billing account. On your Profile, click Delete account, enter your Password and click Delete account. Your passkeys and your access to every billing account are deleted for good.
You can’t delete your login while you own a billing account that is still open. Transfer the ownership first, or contact us. Billing accounts we have closed don’t stop you.
